Pandavani singer, Padma Vibhushan Teejan Bai, admitted to AIIMS

Raipur: Chhattisgarhs, World-renowned Pandavani singer,
Padma Vibhushan Dr. Teejan Bai, was admitted to AIIMS Raipur for immediate treatment after report of low breathe came on Monday afternoon.

Teejan Bai was brought to AIIMS Raipur from her residence in Ganiyari, Bhilai.  

It was reported by family members, that She was experiencing extreme weakness and low blood pressure, making it difficult for her to even get out of bed.

Managing the issue medical expert Dr. Shikhar Agarwal and staff team accompanied during the transfer to, AIIMS.

As soon as she was admitted,  specialist doctors at AIIMS are conducting examinations and providing treatment.

For the folk singer's speedy recovery, Prayers are being offered across the country 

Few days back, Upon receiving news of her health, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inquired about her well-being over the phone.

 Prime Minister Modi spoke to Teejan Bai's daughter-in-law, Venu Deshmukh, over the phone,during his Raipur visit and assured all possible assistance, and wished her a speedy recovery.

Pandavani, a folk art of Chhattisgarh, which are monoplay episodes of the greatest historical epic,  Mahabharatha, was taken to   international recognition through her unique Kapalik style of singing by Dr.Teejan Bai.

Slaying of Dushasana is most popular among Pandavani enthusiasts due to her powerful and emotional performance.

 she traveled to more than nine countries, In the 1980s, including England, France, Germany, Turkey, and Mauritius, as a culturala mbassador, performing Pandavani.
