Anurag Basu felicitated with Chhattisgarh State Award
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan honored at state foundation day
Raipur : Noted film director, and resident of Bhilai City, Anurag Basu was honoured with the Kishore Sahu National Award, given by Chhattisgarh government.
At the State Foundation Day celebrations, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan honored Anurag for his explorery services in the film and documentary making and direction.
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, at the State Awards Ceremony of the Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day celebrations in Nava Raipur, honored 37 other individuals and 4 institutions for their outstanding contributions in various fields with 34 Chhattisgarh State of Awards. The Governor of Chhattisgarh, Ramen Deka, presided over the function.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai was the special guest of honor, and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh was the distinguished guest. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, ministers, MPs, and MLAs were also present on the occasion.
