Raipur. 20 Indigo flights, including 5 to Delhi, 3 to Mumbai, and others to Goa, Indore, and Kolkata, were cancelled.

More than 7,000 passengers had to cancel their trips due to the flight cancellations.

Cancellation of flights at Raipur airport continued on Friday, causing distress and protests among passengers from 6 AM until night. Sources reasoned this, due to a shortage of crew staff and pilots.
Dozens of passengers bound for Delhi and Mumbai had connecting international flights, which made situation more worse.
Situation at the airport remained tense from morning onwards due to the cancellations, arguement with Indigo staff, and even scuffles at the counters.
From last 24 hours, More than 100 passengers bound for Hyderabad and Chennai from Raipur have been stranded at the airport waiting for their flights.
Passengers received no notification via email or SMS. Despite being stranded at the airport, passengers were not provided with accommodation or food. They had to buy their own tea, water, and snacks.
