Their scientific name is "Euspinolia militaris".

As per their name they are not true ants but they are a type of wingless wasp & belong to Mutillidae family.
Their habitat is mainly Found in "Chile".
Size of an Adult panda ant is about 8 millimeters in length.
These are Named as panda ants because of their black-and-white coloration which is exactly a lookalike of a panda.
Female wasp are wingless and they are usually mistaken as ants & Males have wings but they rarely fly. Female wasps lay their eggs in nests of ground-nesting bees and wasps.
Live for a time span of around 2 YEARS.
These wasps possess a very potent sting & are also nicknamed as "COW KILLERS"
These ants are not in the category of endangered speceies.
